My Taipei Trip - Day 1 & Day 2

I know it's too late to blog about my Taipei trip. It was overdue since september 2008. Wow!!! half year ago. But, it's late better than none. Sorry~!! I'm being so lazy to blog about my travels. Well, my companion for this trip was the only one, kimGo. Thanks for your companion. ^^

07.09.2008 - Day 1 (Depart from Miri-KK-Taipei)

Inside AirAsia flight. Departed from Miri Airport to KKIA Terminal 2. Nice wheather! ^^
------

After arrived KK Terminal 2, we took Taxi to KKIA Terminal 1 for taking Mas Airlines to Taipei. And, I was online at KKIA Terminal 1 to blog about my latest condition at there. Refer here to recap your memory.

After 2 hours ++ flight, finally we arived at Taipei Airport. And, we took a cab to our hotel to unload our luggages.
------

This's the Hotel that we stayed - Simply Life （简单生活会馆）. A small hotel but it's very cozy, tidy and clean. The most importantly, the Receptionist is quite pretty and very friendly.

--------The Reception Counter. Oppss...too bad the pretty Receptionist was not around. This hotel is quite cheap, if not mistaken, it's supposed to be around RM120/night. It's definitely worth the price.

My Hotel Room. I took the small room because it's cheaper and my luggage is not much.

After we unloaded our luggages, it was quite late already. It was almost 10pm. So we planned to search around for food that nearby our hotel. Fortunately, we found one nice eatery place.

---------Hu Xu Zhang （胡须张）. This's their trademark. Damn look like the famous host in Taiwan - Zhang Fei （张菲）.
-----The interior design. Quite nice and comfortable. Service was good too.
-----------Due to our hungriness, kimGo ordered 3 dishes and 1 soup. Got Tauhu （豆腐）, Zhu Jiao （猪脚）, Ru Rou Fan （鲁肉贩）. Unbelievable delicious. Thumb up!!!
-------Due to we were still not full yet, another dish that we ordered - Pai Gu （排骨）. Another thumb up!!!
-----LOL!!! Our kimGo still not full yet. So the last order for us. He likes the suan mei tang very much. But, sorry, it was not my cup of tea, I only like the bottle. LOL...about the meat, it was too delicious.

OMG!!!! We taken too much on that night!!! Heavy dinner....opss....should be heavy supper. No wonder I gained weights. But, it's ok, the night after tonight we need lots of energy to visit the places that we have planned.

08.09.2008 - Day 2

We took a cab to the Taipei Station to take the MRT to the places that we have planned. It was quite cheap to take MRT. It saves a lot of money. It's very convenient as well. All the maps and destination arrows have been labelled properly. You definitely won't get stuck or lost by taking MRT.

First stop - Guo Fu Ji Nian Guan （国父纪念馆）.

After that, we took MRT to our next point.

--------Jin Hua Cheng Shopping Mall （京华城）. The design damn nice right? I love the design very much. Wow!!!!
-------Another nice design outside the mall. ^^ Opss...I'm so tiny!!!
------Our breakfast & lunch altogether. Dumpling （水饺）and Tian Bu La （甜不辣）.
----------Taiwan Meat Ball （肉丸） and Mee Hoon Soup （米粉汤）. Don't underestimate their tastiness. It was delicious eventhough a simple Mee Hoon soup.
--------Our dessert - Fen Yuan Bing （粉圆冰）. U never ever taste this in Malaysia. Only Taiwan. Very nice! I love their Yam Fen Yuan. Unbelievable nice!
--------And the unique taste delicious ice-cream. Nice!!! They mixed with some kind of nuts inside the ice-cream.

And, when we out from Jing Hua Shopping Mall, we met a very friendly Taiwanese lady that showed us the way how to go to Breeze Center, another nice shopping mall in Taipei. She brought us to take Bus and brought us to walk and show us around. Damn nice!!!! Let's have a look the places that the Lady showed us.

Next stop - Breeze Center （微风广场）. This shopping mall is like KLCC at KL. All branded items you can find inside. LV? Gucci? Coach??? So, only window shopping for me. LOL!

Next point - SOGO!!!! Very familiar name if you like to watch Taiwan shows. You can find many kinds of fragrances, cosmetics here. It made me blur inside because all the salesgirls are pretty and too friendly. They will keep promote their products to persuade you to buy. If you are not firm enough, sure you will spend a lot inside. Fortunely, I'm a firm one. LOL!!! ^^

And, TAIPEI 101. This's the must go place if you are in Taipei. But, it's only suitable for window shopping. The things inside are quite expensive. LOL!!!

PRADA Advertisement outside TAIPEI 101. See!!! All branded things. No money no talk lah.
--------Inside TAIPEI 101. The coffee stalls, which are full of rich ladies and girls. Most of them are carrying with LVsssss, GUCCIsss.....Even a teen girl who is only 14 or 15 years old. Seems like this's a trend in Taiwan.
----------We went to the 89th Floor if not mistaken to take a good view of the Taipei city. It's not cheap. It cost us RM40 per person to went there if not mistaken. LOL!!! So, we spent most of the whole afternoon there. Actually, it has a lot of things to see. It's worth to pay a visit. ^^
---------The Trademark of Taipei 101. So cute, right? You can see this logo everywhere inside Taipei 101.
-----------And, we went down to 88th Floor, it gots The World's Largest Wind Damper inside (世界最大风阻尼器区). I also don't know what's that. Don't ask me! But, It's a very unique Damper. Worth to pay a visit there.
--------And the unique floor. It will turn to white colour or blank when there's no one step on it. When you step on it, the image of Taipei city will be appeared on the floor. Very unique right?

And, the friendly Taiwan Lady showed us until Taipei 101 then she left us. After all the visitings, both of us felt so hungry, so we took our move to the Taiwan famous night market. Night Markets are the MUST GO PLACES when you are visiting in Taiwan.

Oh!!!!!! This one so damn damn damn nice. I can't forget how tasty is it until today. It's Ma La Ya Xue Chou Dou Fu （麻辣鸭血臭豆腐）at Wu Fen Pu （五分铺）. MUST TRY THIS!!! Wu Fen Pu is a place for shopping and food. You can see lots of pretty girls shopping for their outfits there. Some of the shops provided wholesale services. That's why if you know how to negotiate or bargain, you can definitely get the best price.

After that, we planned to go for another Night Markets. There are too many night markets in taipei and they sell different kind of nice foods. Each market has their own famous foods. So, you have to try them out one by one once you are at Taipei.

The nice Signboard of Rao He Street Night Market （饶河街夜市）. Don't know why I feel it looks like Petaling Street signboard. LOL...Don't play play! It was very crowded. I can't stand with the heatness. So, we didn't try much there. Because we were too tired already.

The very grand temple at Rao He Street Night Market. If you have the time, you can go inside to pay a visit, but we were too tired to do so. It's better for us to grab some food as we were very hungry.
--------And, I tell you. THIS IS NICE, it's called Hu Jiao Bing （胡椒饼）. You must try this at Rao He Street Night Market. The famous food there. You can see the long long queue just waiting for this. Believe me!!!

The Egg Tau Fu Fa （鸡蛋豆腐花）. Nice taste.
-------Very Big portion for a plate. I think you better share a plate with 2-3 persons. The Fen Yuan Bing （粉圆冰）. This stall not so nice. So so only.

The Yao Cai Pai Gu Mian （药材排骨面）. For me, So so only. No Surprise from this bowl.

This one NICE!!!! CHOU DOU FU （臭豆腐）!!! It's smelly but too delicious.

Ok!!! This's my Day 1 and Day 2 schedule. It was a very tiring day. But, it's worth. At least, we explored something different and grabbed something nice and never tried before. Slurp~~!!! Taiwan foods, so yummy and delicious. There will be lots of food after this.

Happy 8th Year Anniversary!

Today is another 20.04 again. It's a special day for both of us. It's our 8th Year Anniversary.

We have gone through lots of things last year, we have big arguement, have big misunderstanding, have some communication breakdown, some backstappings and rumours that created by some of you (You know who you are!), have huge difference of our thoughts towards our future life and so on, and because of many issues, we broken up for a few months but finally, everything back to normal in year 2009.

We have gone through all the happiness, all the sadness and everything.

I know he changed a lot because of our relationship since last year. I know he has tried his best, I know he has done many things for me, no one can believe that he can change that much just for a normal woman like me, but I can feel all of his changes are just for me. I felt the respect, I felt the honour, and I felt that I'm still the precious one in his life.

We have passed thru the 7th year - "The itchiness of the 7th year". I hope that everything will be fine, I hope that we have the chance for another 10 years or even 50 years (Sorry! I don't think that I can survive for that long).

A very surprised night, my very busy boss invited me to Club Infinity and asked me to organise the said event and invited some of my colleagues who are quite close with me. It has been a long long time my boss never invited his own staff to have such wonderful night as he's a very busy businessman.

Though the taste is not as nice as any chef in any restaurant or coffee shop, it still suit for my own taste, I believe same goes to kimGo too. Personally, I feel that some of the dishes taste nice and delicious. ^^ LOL!!!! Memang tak tahu malu!!! :p
